Attention City of Aurora Long Term Rental Owners

The Council has adopted a rental ordinance concerning the registration and inspection of rental properties which will go into effect August 1st, 2023. The full ordinance is available at Aurora City Hall. Packets are available at city hall for this process which include the following steps:

Application Form
List of Certified Inspectors for inspection
Compliance Form
Registration Fee
License for Posting

Penalties for anyone not operating as a registered long-term rental will be enforced per the ordinance and fee schedule adopted by the Council. Questions can be answered at City Hall or by calling: 218-229-2614
