The Splash Pad, located within Pine Grove Park, is free to use and open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm daily in the Summer Months.

Mesabi Trail

Offers an abundance of nature and outdoor experiences. You may choose to walk, hike, bike, skate, ski, snowshoe along the trail as it transverses 25 communities from Grand Rapids to Ely.

St. James Pit Trail
Located around the scenic Lake St. James, this approximately 3 mile paved multi-use trail offers walkers, hikers, bikers, roller-bladers and strollers a breathtaking view of Lake St. James on a winding path through majestic pines and wildlife.

In the center of Aurora along Highway 110, Pine Grove Park offers a picturesque setting rolling hills and mature trees providing serenity and shade. Recently renovated Ed Berdice Ball field is a show-stopping field appropriate for Little League and Girls Softball.

Northern Lights Music Festival
The Northern Lights Music Festival brings fine professional classical music to the Iron Range. Founded in 2003 by Aurora native, Veda Zuponcic, the festival brings opera, symphonic music and chamber music to Aurora as well as other Range cities .
