Rink Attendant
The City of Aurora is seeking a temporary Rink Attendant for the 2023-2024 Winter Season. The Rink Attendant will be responsible for the oversight, coordination, and custodial maintenance of seasonal rink facilities. Must have working knowledge of custodial and janitorial maintenance and an ability to perform moderately strenuous work. Familiarity with machinery including snow blowers, edgers, and Zamboni Ice Resurfacers.

RINK ATTENDANT APPLICATION PACKET
The City of Aurora is seeking a team-oriented person to fill a vacancy in its Volunteer Fire Department. This part-time on call position is responsible for combating, extinguishing and preventing fires. Work involves training for and participating in duties of protecting life and property by firefighting and rescue operations, usually under close supervision and in difficult conditions. Considerable time is spent on drills, training, equipment operation and repair and maintenance of the fire hall.
Knowledge of the physical layout of the city is a plus, and candidates must meet department residency requirements (successful applicant does NOT have to live in City limits, but must live within defined response area). Paid training is provided and must be completed within a reasonable time frame.
