Fire Department

Since 1905, the Aurora Fire Department has been providing fire protection services to Aurora.  The organization is for the purpose of fighting and extinguishing fires of any origin, that they may originate within the City of Aurora or within the Town of White or within contractually served areas. 

Meetings are held monthly, with trainings conducted during meetings.

MEMBERSHIP
Comprised of up to 25 members, the volunteer Fire Department completes approximately 35 fire runs each year. 

Applications are taken periodically for members.  Any person wishing to become a member or continue being a member of the Aurora Fire Department must reside inside the designated response area, whereas the preferred designated response area is defined as any area within eight (8) mintues and thirty (30) seconds from the Aurora Fire Hall.

Valid Minnesota Driver's License
High School Diploma
21 years of Age
Criminal Background Check
Pass: Work Performance Test, Written Abilities Test, Physical Test
